We have left Hartlepool harbor for the second time. Yesterday we sailed in the sail parade, it was rainy in the beginning, but the sky cleared after a while. It was dry as we entered the harbor for the night, so we had dinner on the deck.
This morning we left the quay under sail. The wind was on the head so we set the mainsail to halfway and set the forestaysail on the windward side. This pushed us of the quay, we set the rest of the mainsail and off we went! No motor, no hassle. We are now heading for waypoint B, wind drops and picks up with every shower. Our new trainees are settling in, trying to get used to the movement of the Tecla, getting into their watch rhythm and getting to know each other. Crew Tecla.
