This three-master is equipped with a total of 30 sails and has participated in many Tall Ships' Races since 1994. With great success: In 2000 the Europa became first in one of the legs and second in the overall Transatlantic match series. After that she sailed to Korea for the Tall Ships Races, went on to Antartica and will make an Atlantic crossing from Ussuaia to Cape Town after the Antarctic season. This Antarctic season will be her 10th! After Cape Town she will make her way North to the Tall Ships Races 2011. In short, a true world traveller.The Bark Europa will be joining in the Tall Ships Races 2012!

Accommodation
The classical mahogany deckhouse, teak deck and floors and the authentic details take you back to the 20th century. The comfortable cabins, eleven in total, are well equipped with a private lavatory and shower. De berths are divided into four two-person cabins, four four-person cabins and four six-person cabins. History
The Europa was built in 1911 in Hamburg and first named 'Senator Brockes'. For years it served as a lightship on the Elbe. Harry Smidt bought the ship in 1986 and moved it to Holland to have it rebuilt into a bark (a square - rigged three-mast); the Europa. Since 1994 the completely renovated Europa sails the oceans as trainee ship.News
We organize 7 exchange on board of Tall Ships this summer. Four exchanges will take place during the Tall Ships Races and three of them outside the Tall Ships Races. The nationalities will differ per ship.
The following exchanges are during the Tall Ships Races:
On the Bark Europa will be youngsters of Italy, Sweden, United Kingdom, Belgium, France, Norway, Portugal and the Netherlands. The Lord Nelson will have British, Portuguese, French, Spanish and Dutch youngsters on board.
We also have an exchange during the Tall Ships Races on board of the Kaliakra. On board of this ship will be nationalities from all over the world.
We still have some places left on the Bark Europa for Italian, Belgian and Swedish youngsters. On the Lord Nelson we have some places for youngsters of France, United Kingdom and Spain. And as said before on the Kaliakra are places for all nationalities .
